Summary
What we like
Llama Airforce provides a great way for users to take advantage of Curve and Convex flywheel by autocompounding bribe rewards.
What we like less
The core Union contracts are not audited and the treasury is controlled by only a 2/3 multisig. The team is also anonymous which reduces transparency.
What it means for you
Offers you a simple-to-use autocompounder that reduces the high gas fees required to constantly claim bribe rewards.

Risk Assessment
Watch Out
Protocol Code Quality
  • Code not reviewed by any experienced auditors
  • Anonymous team reduces transparency
  • No documented protocol hacks since launch
Protocol Maturity
  • Core protocol launched in 2022; maturity over one year minimizes technical risk as smart contracts are well battle-tested
  • Top 20% by total value locked slightly reduces risk
  • Multisig wallet controls protocol upgrades
  • Multisig consists of less than 4 signers, which makes the protocol more susceptible to centralization risks
  • No timelock exists or no information documented, which mean a malicious actor could approve upgrades without any delay
  • No governance token and/or contracts are fully immutable
Protocol Design
  • No death spiral concerns
  • This protocol is susceptible to risks related to yield optimizers which deploy custom strategies to automatically manage user funds
Things to know about Llama Airforce

How Llama Airforce works

Llama Airforce is a protocol that serves to autocompound Convex bribe rewards for users while socializing gas costs across all members. The Union is the smart contract that automates this service. By joining the Union, users forward their bribe rewards to Llama Airforce, who collectively claims them and swaps them all for cvxCRV. The cvxCRV is then deposited into the autocompounder (the "pounder") and pounder shares are airdropped to Union members.

How Llama Airforce makes money

The protocol charges a 2% fee on each bribe round that goes to the treasury. The pounder itself also takes 5% of the yield earned as a fee, as well as initially charges a 5% fee on yield as a caller incentive. Lastly, there's a 1% withdrawal fee that goes to all pound members.

How you make money on Llama Airforce

You can forward your bribe rewards to Llama Airforce to autocompound your earnings over time while socializing gas costs across all Union members.
