MakerDAO launches native lending protocol.

Spark Protocol is a new lending platform launched by MakerDAO to bolster utility for its DAI stablecoin and is part of the protocol’s 

. Spark Lend, a soft fork of Aave V3, enables users to borrow or lend ETH, stETH, DAI, and sDAI (savings DAI).

Bitcoin transactions hit record high on new token standard.

 The latest development on the Bitcoin blockchain has seen the introduction of BRC-20 tokens (a la ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum), which are fungible assets created through the Ordinals protocol. For now, most of the listed tokens are driven by a spillover effect from the memecoin hype on Ethereum.

ETH staking continues to trend positively post Shapella.

Recent on-chain trends bode well for ETH over the long term. The amount of users staking ETH has outpaced withdrawals for the first time since the Shapella upgrade in April. The network is also seeing significant burn rates (partly due to the memecoin activity driving up gas fees), with nearly 70K burned over the last week! Check out the
