The VIRTUAL token powers the Virtuals Protocol, enabling governance, staking, and incentivizing participation in the creation and validation of AI-driven virtual agents.
VIRTUAL is a mid-cap asset that represents the protocol's native governance or utility token. This asset is exposed to the underlying risks of Virtuals, a protocol rated as Average.

VIRTUAL has a fixed supply. SUI is the native token of Sui, used for transactions, staking, and governance.
VIRTUAL is the governance and utility token of the Virtuals Protocol, an AI-focused launchpad on the Base network. It powers a decentralized ecosystem where users can create, deploy, and monetize AI agents without technical expertise. VIRTUAL enables co-ownership and revenue-sharing models, driving the development of a community-owned AI agent economy.
VIRTUAL drives the Virtuals Protocol ecosystem by serving as a core utility and governance token. It is used to pair with AI agent tokens in locked liquidity pools, ensuring long-term stability and creating deflationary pressure. Users are required to exchange their currency for VIRTUAL to purchase AI agent tokens and also use VIRTUAL to pay for services provided by the agents, ensuring a consistent demand for the token. Additionally, creators lock VIRTUAL tokens to launch new AI agents through the Initial Agent Offering (IAO) mechanism, further integrating the token into the platform.
The total supply of VIRTUAL is capped at 1 billion tokens, all of which are fully unlocked. Of this, 60% (600 million tokens) are in public circulation, 5% (50 million tokens) are allocated to liquidity pools, and 35% (350 million tokens) are reserved for the ecosystem treasury to fund community initiatives and growth, with a controlled annual emission of no more than 10% over the next three years.
